Shrinkx Hips

I’ve been complaining that I have been in a major blogging slump lately, but all this time I’ve had my Shrinkx Hips review to blog about!   I’m only about 12 weeks late on posting this, but better late than never, right?

Back in April, I asked for your advice about the Shrinkx Hips product.  At the time I was really worried about how wide my hips were getting while I was pregnant.   They really spread!  I mean, my arms could not even hang down straight at my sides; they went slightly out because of my hips!  In the back of my mind I was pretty sure that they would basically return back to their normal size, but I wasn’t 100 percent sure.  Just to be safe, I was seriously considering forking over the 60 bucks for Shrinkx Hips.  INSTEAD… Shrinkx Hips contacted little old me and sent me my very own Shrinkx Hips Ultra!  How nice is that?!?

The day after Taylor was born, I tried on the Shrinkx Hips band on.  I wanted to start the shrinkin’ right away! I didn’t wear the band religiously, but I wore it about 1 hour a day for the first 5 weeks.  It was very comfortable to wear around the house.  I tried wearing it once under jeans, but my jeans were already very tight, so it didn’t help having that on as well.  While on maternity leave, I mostly lived in sweats and groucho pants, so the band worked well with those types of clothes.

One negative to the band, is that while it provides support and compression around your hips, it doesn’t compress your stomach at all, so it can make your postpartum belly look and feel bigger.  It would be great if it could have a girdle that would also compress your stomach too.

All in all, I am very happy with Shrinkx Hips.  I never did take my hip measurements while I was pregnant, so I don’t know how bad they actually got, but I am happy to report that my hips are back to my pre-pregnancy size!  I can’t say for sure that it is all thanks to wearing Shrinkx Hips; I may just be lucky too, or maybe it’s a combination of the two! :)

I have a bunch of pregnant friends now, so I’ll be passing the Shrinkx Hips band on to someone else to try out.  I’ll ask them to do a review too to see what their take is on it.  Have any of you tired this?  Did it work for you?

Thanks again Shrinkx Hips!  I am SO glad to have my pre-pregnancy hips back! :)

  1. Seriously, nobody should be that skinny 3 months after having a baby;) You look fabulous! Do those things come in full body size!!???? I hope I get to see Taylor again before she turns one. I cannot believe how quickly the time is going by.

  2. You're such a skinny minny! I'm sure you'd be just as tiny as you are now even without the shrinking contraption...

    My Story
    Welcome to my life…

Over the past three years it has been flipped upside down. I am 31 years old, and married to my hubby of three years, Josh. We have 4 beautiful angel babies, who are fondly known as our “Green Beans”. The first of my quads, Heidi, held on as long as she could and was born on January 31, 2009 after pPROMing at 17 weeks. A few weeks later, I pPROM’d with my sweet Lily. Lily, Paige, and Rylan were all born at 22 weeks on February 23, 2009. Just after being released from the hospital empty handed, I returned with a high fever and infection. Two of the nights I spent in the hospital that week, I honestly thought I was going to die. It was the sickest and most hopeless I’ve ever been. I’m pretty sure my diagnosis was a broken heart.

Our journey to becoming parents has had its share of happiness and heartbreaks. I got through every day by staying close to Josh, friends and family, blogging, and relying on God that my future will be bright. All the love and support I’ve gotten has greatly helped me manage……I am alive and well, and want to be my absolute best as a result of this.

On May 1st 2011, we welcomed our sweet baby girl, Taylor, into this world. She is our miracle baby and brings so much joy and happiness in our lives. She is such a gift from God.

I have come out of all of this with a better appreciation of life. I hope to make the best of this situation by helping others who will experience a similar loss.
