Lazy Weekend…

I have just logged on to my laptop for the first time all week!  This past week that we’ve been at home with Taylor has just flown by.  I’m tired and have been busy tending to her, but it’s all been wonderful.  While Josh is out running errands today, we are just lounging around the house and enjoying a day with no plans.

The lack of sleep is setting in, but somehow it’s manageable.  I went from sleeping about 12 hours a day, while pregnant, to maybe getting 6 interrupted hours of sleep.  I still feel great and am so happy to start each day.

We are so blessed to have Taylor in our lives.  She is a happy, content, easy baby - at least for now!  :)  We know we are lucky!   I dreamt about what she’d be like for so long now, but Taylor has exceeded all my thoughts and expectations.  I had no idea I’d love her this much!  She instantly filled the hole in my heart that I’ve had for so long.  Nothing will take the place of my Green Beans, but she has made all the pain and sadness that we’ve experienced over the past two years worth it.  I knew God had a plan for us, and I’m so thankful that Taylor is part of it.

Taylor had an all day photo shoot yesterday with KC.  She was an absolute angel all day while we posed her  for the pictures.  I can’t wait to see her pictures and share them with you all soon!

  4. Lauren, she is BEAUTIFUL. Enjoy this precious time with her, well it is all so very precious! But, yes, I didnt think it would fly as fast as they truely say. Its like the blink of an eye, and well I have an almost 8 month old. It feels like yesterday I just came home with her.

Enjoy your quiet time with her today while Daddy is out doing errands! I remember, when I was pregnant I slept most of the day and what a difference it was. I was BEYOND exhsuasted, with little sleep as you said like 6 hrs of interrupted sleep, BUT ITS SO WORTH IT and I cant wait to one day do it all over again.

Soon enough, she will be sleeping through the night, as in 5 hrs as they say for a newborns sleeping through the night, and youll get on schedule again and what not. ENJOY mama and she is BEAUTIFUL! Cant wait to see the newborn photos!

    My Story
    Welcome to my life…

Over the past three years it has been flipped upside down. I am 31 years old, and married to my hubby of three years, Josh. We have 4 beautiful angel babies, who are fondly known as our “Green Beans”. The first of my quads, Heidi, held on as long as she could and was born on January 31, 2009 after pPROMing at 17 weeks. A few weeks later, I pPROM’d with my sweet Lily. Lily, Paige, and Rylan were all born at 22 weeks on February 23, 2009. Just after being released from the hospital empty handed, I returned with a high fever and infection. Two of the nights I spent in the hospital that week, I honestly thought I was going to die. It was the sickest and most hopeless I’ve ever been. I’m pretty sure my diagnosis was a broken heart.

Our journey to becoming parents has had its share of happiness and heartbreaks. I got through every day by staying close to Josh, friends and family, blogging, and relying on God that my future will be bright. All the love and support I’ve gotten has greatly helped me manage……I am alive and well, and want to be my absolute best as a result of this.

On May 1st 2011, we welcomed our sweet baby girl, Taylor, into this world. She is our miracle baby and brings so much joy and happiness in our lives. She is such a gift from God.

I have come out of all of this with a better appreciation of life. I hope to make the best of this situation by helping others who will experience a similar loss.
