31 Week Update

Sorry for the delayed post!  Its been a busy week.  I’m almost done with my 31st week, but here’s the quick update…

How many weeks? I am 31 GLORIOUS weeks!!

Baby Taylor should be about 16 inches and 4 pounds by now.  Isn’t that amazing?  I can’t wait to see what she’ll be at my next appointment.

 31

How am I feeling?   Besides feeling bigger by the day - I am feeling great!  I am still amazed and so, so grateful that I am up on my feet every day.   I’m out of bed, doing what I want to do, working, driving… Such a difference from my last pregnancy!

31.1

Doctor’s Appointment? I haven’t been to the doctor is almost a month!  I wonder what little Taylor is up to these days.  My last and final Peri appointment is on Monday.  It’s weird to think that that will most likely be my last ultrasound, so the next time I see Taylor, it will be in the flesh!

Weight Gain? 18 pounds.

Baby Preparation? We are having fun putting the nursery together and getting organized.  Josh and I did some closet re-organizing last weekend in preparation for all the baby stuff!

I should have pictures of the completed nursery by next week.  I say should because believe it or not, I am STILL waiting on the bedding that has been backordered forever.  I am probably the most annoying customer Dwell has ever had because lately I’ve been calling for updates weekly.  How long does it take to make some new bedding sets and ship them out already???

  7. Allison, Cam's not going to be a "cousin" unless you think kissin' cousins are ok. Of course we live in Florida so who knows.

    My Story
    Welcome to my life…

Over the past three years it has been flipped upside down. I am 31 years old, and married to my hubby of three years, Josh. We have 4 beautiful angel babies, who are fondly known as our “Green Beans”. The first of my quads, Heidi, held on as long as she could and was born on January 31, 2009 after pPROMing at 17 weeks. A few weeks later, I pPROM’d with my sweet Lily. Lily, Paige, and Rylan were all born at 22 weeks on February 23, 2009. Just after being released from the hospital empty handed, I returned with a high fever and infection. Two of the nights I spent in the hospital that week, I honestly thought I was going to die. It was the sickest and most hopeless I’ve ever been. I’m pretty sure my diagnosis was a broken heart.

Our journey to becoming parents has had its share of happiness and heartbreaks. I got through every day by staying close to Josh, friends and family, blogging, and relying on God that my future will be bright. All the love and support I’ve gotten has greatly helped me manage……I am alive and well, and want to be my absolute best as a result of this.

On May 1st 2011, we welcomed our sweet baby girl, Taylor, into this world. She is our miracle baby and brings so much joy and happiness in our lives. She is such a gift from God.

I have come out of all of this with a better appreciation of life. I hope to make the best of this situation by helping others who will experience a similar loss.
