bad hair day?
Poor Seven had a bad experience at the groomers yesterday. Apparently, when you say "groom" the dog, they think shave off all their hair!

Over the past three years it has been flipped upside down. I am 31 years old, and married to my hubby of three years, Josh. We have 4 beautiful angel babies, who are fondly known as our “Green Beans”. The first of my quads, Heidi, held on as long as she could and was born on January 31, 2009 after pPROMing at 17 weeks. A few weeks later, I pPROM’d with my sweet Lily. Lily, Paige, and Rylan were all born at 22 weeks on February 23, 2009. Just after being released from the hospital empty handed, I returned with a high fever and infection. Two of the nights I spent in the hospital that week, I honestly thought I was going to die. It was the sickest and most hopeless I’ve ever been. I’m pretty sure my diagnosis was a broken heart.
Our journey to becoming parents has had its share of happiness and heartbreaks. I got through every day by staying close to Josh, friends and family, blogging, and relying on God that my future will be bright. All the love and support I’ve gotten has greatly helped me manage……I am alive and well, and want to be my absolute best as a result of this.
On May 1st 2011, we welcomed our sweet baby girl, Taylor, into this world. She is our miracle baby and brings so much joy and happiness in our lives. She is such a gift from God.
I have come out of all of this with a better appreciation of life. I hope to make the best of this situation by helping others who will experience a similar loss.
Poor Seven! Did you have to pay for that hack job? Piper says perhaps you should find a new barber seven (and in the meantime to you want to borrow some fur I have extra)
ReplyDeletePoor thing!!!
ReplyDeleteGood grief! Sometimes people take things too literal! Poor Seven..I'm not sure if I'd chuckle at that or be frustrated with the groomer - probably both!
ReplyDeleteWow, that was a really strange "haircut" for the poor dog! Well, at least it grows back again :)
ReplyDeleteWell i can't see seven in any beauty pagents in the near future. Seriously, what were the groomers thinking.
ReplyDeletePoor Seven, I have had a similar experience with our Schnoodle, all you could see was his skin! It will grow back soon.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, poor doggie! Well, it looks, um, nice and cool for the summer?
ReplyDeleteThey were just giving him some highlights!! At least he's still smiling!
ReplyDeleteHer, her, her, SORRY SEVEN!!!
ReplyDeleteChemo dog? What was that person trying to do to your poor dog? I hope Seven's hair grows back soon! I guess you don't need a doggie sweater in Florida.

I hope you didn't pay them!
ReplyDeletewow i cant believe a groomer would skin a dog like that! i would report them to the BBB! Poor dog, must be awfully itchy with that shave job. poor thing.
ReplyDeleteI've looked at these pictures several times, and I still am laughing out loud. Especially at the tail. What were they thinking!!!
ReplyDeletePoor pup. I know how he feels. I had a bad cut in January.
ReplyDeletePoor seven! Kinda reminds me of a mullet...you know business in the front, party in the back! ha Thank goodness dogs hair grows pretty fast. :)
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't be using that groomer again! Poor Seven!
ReplyDeleteIf a dog sheds, they shouldn't shave their hair unless you specifically request it. I would assume that type of dog just needed bathing. I wouldn't have paid for that!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, that is freaking hilarious! I feel bad for Seven but he'll be ok. Wow, that gave me a good laugh. He still looks as cute as ever!
ReplyDeleteHoly Hell! I cannot stop laughing! Mike told me about it but I never imagined it would be so bad! She'll be fine & it makes for some funny pics & a funny story. She's still a sweetie pie & adorable! Where the heck did you take her??
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA poor Seven! She must be so embarrassed to go out in public!
ReplyDeleteOh goodness! Seven's a cutie. She can pull it off!
ReplyDeleteI just started reading your blog and I have to say this cracked me up. I had a hack groomer job on one of our dachies and I almost cried when she came out. Luckily I was able to tell them NOT to do the same thing to the other beforehand. I can't believe they would equate shave to groom (bathe, etc).
